The first series of the collection contains political correspondence between the Polish Freedom Movement "Independence and Democracy" in New York and the Central Committee of the Movement in London (Great Britain), General Assembly of Captive European Nations. Correspondence of the leaders of the movement - Rowmund Pilsudski and Boleslaw Laszewski. Records on the activities of the Polish Freedom Movement - American Branch: materials and reports from meetings, Statute and statements, lists of members, press clippings, as well as bulletins published by the American Branch of the Movement: "KOMUNIKAT" and "BIULETYN INFORMACYJNY"(1953-1957). The second series of the records contains publications of the Central Committee of the Movement in London, statements, reports on the activities of the Committee and bulletins: "NIDOWIEC"; "NIEPODLEGLOSC I DEMOKRACJA"; "TRYBUNA" (1944-1955).
