Lucja Marecka-Borskiwas a librarian, translator and writer of short stories for children.

Lucja Marecka-Borski was a librarian and translator. The collection contains private and official correspondence of Lucja Marecka-Borski with Jerzy Ficowski, Julia Williamson, Jozef and Halina Wittlin, publishers and librarians. There are materials and articles on library work of Lucja Borski, instructions and catalogue cards with her notes for the Library of Congress. There are also her translations of books in English and poems of Jerzy Ficowski, a book "How To Love Children" by Janusz Korczak and a collection of Polish fables for children.
