Ciechanowiecka Ludwika Papers, (1881-) 1938 - 1983

Ludwika Ciechanowiecka was a Polish writer and journalist. She lived in exile in the USA until 1940. She was a former staff member of the newspaper "Nowy Swiat" (The Polish Daily News) published in New York.

The collection contains private and official correspondence of Ludwika Ciechanowiecka with the Central and Eastern European Planning Board and Polish writer Ksawery Pruszynski. There are also biographical data on Ciechanowiecki family (1881 - 1945). The series - Publications - contains handwritten manuscripts and typescripts of articles, radio scripts for Radio Free Europe and a small series of press clippings on Polish, German, Soviet and Jewish issues.
