Gutowski Family Papers, 1932 - 1957 (-1974)
Adam T. Gutowski was a pharmacist, founder of the Polish Educational Council of Paterson in New Jersey, Polish American activist and delegate from the USA to Congress of Poles in Warsaw (1934).
Adrienne Gutowski was also a Polish American activist, teacher and instructor of the Polish language for the Columbia University in New York.

The collection contains some biographical data on Adam and private and official correspondence of Adrienne Gutowski (e.g.. State Department of Education in New Jersey). The main part of the collection contains various press clippings, correspondence and bulletins on activities of Polish American Organizations (1932-1957), bulletins of the Polish Information Center in New York (1939) and also materials on the Congress of Poles in Warsaw - "II Zjazd Polakow z Zagranicy" (1934).
