Dembinski Bronislaw Papers, 1882 - 1937 (-1946)
Bronislaw Dembinski (1858-1939) was a diplomat and scholar. He was a member of a group researching sources for the history of Poland in Vatican Archives in 1886 and 1887. He served in the Polish Ministry of Religion Issues and Education (1918-1920). From 1923 he was a professor in Department of History at University of Poznan. He was also a member of the Polish Acadamy of Arts and Sciences and President of the Polish Group in the International Association of Friends of the League of Nations.
Arrangement in Series: Personal Papers.
The collection contains correspondence of Bronislaw Dembinski (1925-1937) with American Council of Learned Societies. The main part of the collection are typescripts of Diaries of Bronislaw Dembinski (1882-1914). There are also letters of Anna Dembinska to PIASA sent with Dembinski's Diaries (1946).
