Archival holdings: Polish artifacts in this archive are included in the following collections: Giovanni Valentino Fabbroni Papers, ca. 1770s-1875; Filippo Mazzei Papers, 1780-1816 and Norman Kaplan Papers, ca. 1950-1970. The Fabbroni (Italian naturalist) Papers - contains letters from scientists, artists, musicians, soldiers, political figures from Europe, correspondence of Alexander von Humboldt and Count Jan Potocki.
Filippo Mazzei (Italian physician and merchant) Papers contain correspondence from the time when he served as a chargé d'affaires for King Stanislaus of Poland - political correspondence with Louis XVI King of France, Feliks Oraczewski, Count Seweryn Rzewuski, Stanislaus II King of Poland. Access to this collection is available on microfilm. In the archive there are 10 reels of microfilm from Capponi Collection in Biblioteca Nazionale, Florence, Italy; Mazzei Family Archives, Pisa, Italy and National Library of Poland in Warsaw.
Norman Kaplan (sociologist) Papers contain correspondence and documents regarding his sociological research especially on European and Soviet issues, including some materials about Poland.
