Archival holdings: the Society library and archives
are focused on Ukraine and the Ukrainian
Diaspora history. There are many artifacts on joint Polish -
Ukrainian historical and political relations. Materials on Polish
affairs in this archive are included in many collections. Jan
Tokarzewski-Karaszewicz Papers, 1902-1954 (historian, genealogist
and Ukrainian politician) contain materials on history and genealogy,
heraldic and religious issues on the territory of Western Ukraine.
Pavlo Shandruk Papers, 1927-1978 (Ukrainian and Polish Army officer,
the head of the Ukrainian National Committee in Berlin, 1944)
contain materials of Ukrainian Army and government in exile,
Prometheus League. Also there are materials on situation of people
in Eastern Europe and Soviet Union (in the Polish language).
Vasyl Mudryci Papers, 1931-1964 (Ukrainian journalist, politician)
include correspondence, memos, reports, clippings, and other
material concerning Ukrainian national politics in Poland before
World War II, displaced Ukrainians and refugees from
Ukraine after World War II.
