Founded in 1921.

Archival holdings: Records related to the history of Poland and the Polish American community in the
XX century. The Archive contains records of the activities of the Association: headquarters, divisions
and posts in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Cuba and Poland (1921-1999) - card index of members
(ca.18000), reports of meetings and activities of regional branches of the Association, large and valuable
collection of photographs. Records include correspondence (1922-1939) with other veteran
associations in Poland, for example Zwiazek Hallerczykow in Poland. Press archives of the
Association's newsletter "WETERAN" published in New York.
Also there are historical records on the organization of the Polish Army in France during World War I
(1917-1919), with unique and valuable collection of photographs from Polish military camps. Similar
materials are related to the history of the Polish Army in the West during the World War II, with a large
and interesting photo collection on the Polish Navy. Archives include oral history and audio-video
materials.

Other holdings: museum holdings are connected with the history of the Polish Army in the West during
World War I and World War II
