Archival holdings: The YIVO Archives hold more than 22,000,000 documents, photographs, recordings, posters, films, videotapes and artifacts. They contain very important materials for studies on the history of Jewish Community in Poland. Many of the records contain documents from Poland, Russia, Lithuania from XVII to XX centuries. There are records on Holocaust, the Nazi exterminations of Jewish communities in Poland and neighboring countries, files from the Lodz and Warsaw Ghettoes.

Other holdings: Large library - collection contains 1.1 million volumes, over 150,000 microforms and 26,800 serial titles.
