Polish archival holdings: Materials on Polish issues contains
records of US Federal administration (microfilms): Records of the
U.S. Department of State Relating to Internal Affairs of
Poland, 1916-1959. There are private papers collections of foreign
affairs officers: Albert William Sherer, Arthur Bliss Lane - ambassador
to Poland (1945-1947) and active member of the American Committee
to Investigate the Katyn Massacre (1949-1952); Józef Pilsudski
Institute of America archives - microfilm (1910-1971) and Leon Mitkiewicz
papers (1943-1965) - military and diplomatic official in the time
of World War II.
