The States Archive in Bydgoszcz was established in 1906.
Archival holdings: historical records of Bydgoszcz and small towns from this part of East Pomerania and also public authorities, offices and institutions from 14th to 20th century. Records of occupation authorities from World War II, Polish state administration and Communist party from post-World War II period. Large collection of maps and vital records.
