The States Archive in Warsaw was established in 1925. 
Archival holdings: records to the history of the Poznan Catholic Archdiocese and region from XIII to XX century. Collection of vital church records, mostly from the XVIII and XIX centuries from over 300 parishes of our archdiocese. A smaller set of Lutheran records from the region of Poznan is also available.
