| The 500-year anniversary of the birth of Mikolaj Kopernik: organized an exhibit of 50 photographs and a sculpture of Copernicus, on loan from the Kosciuszko Foundation, at the Rockefeller University and at the American Institute of Polish Culture in Miami, FL. The photos were later donated to the AIPC and to the Pilsudski Institute in New York City. | |||||||||||||||||||||

of the discovery of polonium and radium by Maria Sklodowska-Curie and her
husband Pierre. The meetings were held at multiple cooperating institutions

York Academy of Medicine, the Polish Academy of Sciences, the French Academy of Sciences and Universities like Columbia in New York City, the University of Connecticut in New Britain, Middletown and Yale University, as well as the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, sponsored by the AIPC and with the support of Polish Ethnic organizations such as PAC (Polish American Congress), PIASA, Polonia Technica, Medical Society Medicus and others. |
