Since 1942 the Polish Institute of Arts & Sciences of America (PIASA) has strived to maintain a strong center of learning in order to advance knowledge about Poland's millennial humanistic heritage and about Polish American contributions to the life, culture and history of the USA. The new technology which created the Internet with the World Wide Web has opened up new possibilities which can only be described as revolutionary. One of the most important features on PIASA's website is the ARCHIVAL INFORMATION CENTER which provides an essential research tool for Polish studies scholars and researchers everywhere. Now the Polish Institute will provide yet another indispensable tool. No serious researcher in Polish Studies can afford to ignore THE POLISH REVIEW, a scholarly, multi-disciplinary quarterly journal, published by PIASA without interruption since 1956. Thanks to the efforts of our webmaster Mariusz Bargielski the TABLE OF CONTENTS of THE POLISH REVIEW since 1956 is posted on this website. Scholars and researchers will have an opportunity to gain access to this important source and order back issues and/or specific articles from the journal. Your comments and questions will be greatly appreciated. |
