Foundation for Polish Science (Fundacja Na Rzecz Nauki Polskiej) based in Warsaw is one of the most prestigious institutions in Poland whose motto is “Supporting Only the Bests, So that They Can Become Even Better”. In its Annual Report under “Collaboration With Scientific Organizations” it noted the following: “For several years now, the Foundation has been a supporting member of a number of leading scientific associations of a corporate nature in Poland..:The Warsaw Scientifc Society, Thee Torun Scientific Society, The Society of the Friends of Science in Poznan, The Society for the Promotion and Support of Science, and The Polish Institute of Arts & Sciences of America (PIASA). The membership fee due from FNP for each of these organizations was 5,000. zlotys. PIASA was the only organization outside of Poland to be so honored. |
